Description
I still do not have a name for these things. 
This little batch of sketches is for Sapph =Kessima again, for our sci fi rp "Targetbagged" (omg I love that name even though it really has nothing to do with the story).
First snow day of the year and I'm lovin' it. Looks so pretty outside, but I hope everyone gets home safely! :c
Anyways, these aliens I based off manta rays, some sort of bug...and probably a pokemon in there, too (and maybe Slender Man). They glide to move, but they can also get on all fours and crawl around with those little mini claws. When they rear up like in the bottom left drawing, they can't exactly walk like that; it's more for intimidation.
That thing on the bottom right is what happens when they open their bellies up: yes, they can do that. Those tentacles are the sexual organs (just drew both genders plus pregnant to show the difference) and the pit is the stomach. Yes, they cannot taste anything (sadness) They can use the tentacles to push meals into the stomach, though: multi-purpose organs! 
Oh! They're not just animals: they're almost as intelligent as humans or my Zuuq species. Not quiiiiite as intelligent, but they work together very well, like ants in a colony.
Still not sure if I made them too large...Sapphy, if you want to add anything or rearrange something, tell me. This is gonna collectively be our species, after all. These are just some ideas. c:

Oh oh oh, maybe name this species targetbags/targetbaggers? so that way the title of the story is somehow connected?
Hey, maybe have it be that a single species does have both of those sexual organs
I mean, I think some species here on Earth are kinda-- omg snails. Snails have both fucking organs. So when they mate with another it's like, they're both... and even if they don't find a mate they can just themselves --this is an alien species after all, and quite a odd one, so why not be hermaphroditic?
